For companies with smaller warehouses or lower volumes of inventory, sometimes the pick process is skipped. If your company skips the pick process and goes directly to packing, you can configure your workflow within Deskera to support this.

After the pick, items are packed into boxes and prepared for shipment. Deskera then automatically creates a packing slip based on the items picked for shipment.

Finally, to get it out of the warehouse – Deskera supports integration with all major shipping carriers. If you’re using LTL (less-than-load) transportation, Deskera offers APIs that connect to online brokers and automatically brings freight costs into the system based on dimensioning information. These costs can be tagged to invoices, which are automatically sent to your accounting department once the item has left the facility.
